You have to learn forgiveness.

You have to learn forgiveness.

And not in the way they teach you out there, to give it to everybody so they can stay close. No, forget that one, the world will keep teaching you that. The one I want to talk about is how to forgive yourself. You didn’t know better. You didn’t know your taboos then, or as my people say your “Ewo” - the things your spirit cannot stand that the world taught you how to accept. All of us have different ones. We don’t have the same Ewo. The key to self-forgiveness is resistance. As soon as you know, you can’t un know. As soon as you know, you must resist engaging further.

The thing about Ewo is it isn’t just “a thing I don’t like”. That is simply preference. A taboo is something your inner self is not just repulsed by but also when you engage in it, it weakens a part of your soul. It leaves you open to havoc. It renders you *mostly* momentarily weak and you can feel it. If an ill-intentioned person were to pass you by whilst engaging in it or after, they can have you on your knees faster than any other time.

I cannot tell you what your Ewo is. Only you can know. For some, their Ewo is not to act on their immediate anger. The consequences are dire. For some, it is not to engage in mind altering substances. They just can’t function well, esp spiritually. Their insides will beg them to stop. Others should never lie!
You may figure out things you have casually allowed into your physical space, mind or body is an Ewo!
You may have more than one.
Your soul says NO!
Yet you ignore it because “it’s not a big deal”

oh, baby.

There are things others can get away with that you cannot. It is not their Ewo!

In accessible white man’s language - Ewo/taboo is linked to your karma. Once you engage in it, it incurs a personal or collective or generational debt.
Your soul takes note.

Once you find out what it is you are weakening yourself with, you mustn’t do it again. You mustn’t betray your Eleda(inner creator/god of your being) like that ever again. Find your Ewo(s) and imprison it. Then forgive yourself because you didn’t know.

You didn’t know. It is okay.
Do you hear? It is okay.

I have said my own.
Be well.
